Spotting fake support

Real support does not chase you into DMs.

How impostors play helpful — and how you end the play.

Fake agents arrive where you are already anxious: after a glitch, a pause, or a scary email.

They offer a ticket number, a screenshot, and a link. You offer nothing until you open a bookmark you typed.

Any request for a seed, remote access, or ‘verification payment’ ends the conversation.

Kind tone is not credentials. Procedures are.
