Push notifications and scams

A notification is not a warrant.

When a banner on your phone tries to steer you into a bad tap.

Open exchanges and wallets from the home-screen icon you installed — not from the notification deep link if anything feels off.

Disable noisy alerts you do not need. Noise is how urgency sneaks in.

If a push claims your account is locked, verify on a bookmark you typed.

Your thumb is the attack surface; slow it down.
